Sniffies is seeking a forward-thinking and highly proactive Digital Media Buyer working with both our ad sales team to implement, track and assist in client management of ad campaigns across sniffies.com as well as working with our Paid Advertising team to buy and manage outside ad buying for Sniffies growth, focusing on user acquisition.
This critical position is tasked with the execution of innovative digital media campaigns designed to attract new users and broaden our brand's influence. We seek a candidate who excels in rapid-paced settings, brings a data-driven approach to decision-making, and harbors a deep enthusiasm for all facets of digital marketing, aiming to drive strategic growth and enhance our market presence.
Responsibilities:
Implement Media Buying Strategy: implement a strategic plan for buying digital media that targets new user acquisition, optimizing for cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
Ad Scheduling and Tracking: Manage the scheduling of routine monthly ad requests, ensuring adherence to established tracking methods for long-term clients.
Campaign Management: Oversee the launch and management of ad campaigns from the initial bidding process through to execution. Continuously monitor and adjust placements based on performance metrics and campaign objectives.
Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for digital campaigns ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum return on investment.
Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign results using advanced analytics and tracking tools to measure effectiveness and ROI. Adjust buying strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize user acquisition.
Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to ensure that ad content and placement are strategically aligned with overall marketing efforts and user acquisition targets.
Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital media buying and technological advancements that could enhance campaign strategies.
Performance Reporting: Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, insights on user acquisition, and areas for improvement. Present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Ensure all B2B clients are invited to the Sniffies Ad Dashboard and support the completion of individual client reporting spreadsheets on a monthly basis.
Administrative Support: Provide backup and cover for the broader Global Ad Sales Team, addressing quick turnaround client ad requests, organizing assets, managing data filing, overseeing sales handoffs from the B2B Global Ad Sales Team, and monitoring HubSpot software to keep the team updated on invoice tracking.
External Requests Support: Assist in managing external inquiries by notifying the appropriate teams and integrating them into the Marketing and Ad Sales workflow. Activate the senior Ad Sales Team when ad strategy is required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience in digital media buying, specifically with a focus on user acquisition strategies, ideally in a startup or agency environment.
Strong understanding of various digital advertising platforms (e.g Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, ExoClick, TrafficJunky) and programmatic buying.
Working knowledge of Prisma, DCM, Double Verify or other ad verification partners
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost-effective ad deals.
Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to make informed buying decisions.
Experience developing and managing the RFP process from negotiation to IO submission.
Experience of managing budgets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience of working with Office365, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong engagement and understanding of the LGBTQ community; enthusiasm for working in a sex-positive environment is crucial.
This is a 12 month contract.
