Booked a trip outbound 26 April, 5 nights in hotel, return 10 May. BA codeshares on Qatar to MLE so 1120 tier points in total.
The flights themselves have posted correctly, I received 280 bonus TP on 8 May (i.e., before the return) but nothing since so I guess I have to chase. Odd to see the double TP post before the return though.

I think I may experience the same. Flew to Australia on 22nd May, had double points of the first flights posting the other day, I haven't taken my return flights as of yet but have completed the 5 night hotel stay.

Can we confirm if anyone who has had partial double TPs just for the outbound part of their trip has ever got the double TPs for the rest *without* having to chase?
I have obviously been lucky. My trips all posted their double TPs on the next Wednesday after the return flight landed. So they all came in one block after the trip, none in the middle.
What I am wondering is if the combined wisdom of this forum can give us a clue into how and why this might go wrong. This might then give folks here a chance to arrange things to minimise their risk, know when to chase and when it is worth just waiting, and possibly give BA a nudge to fix their systems (just joking).

Yes, the majority of mine are now like that. Used to have to chase all the time in the early days but they seem to have got much better now
I'd need to look in detail but from a reasonable sample size I'd say
50% Double TPs post per flight no chasing needed
35% Double TP's post all together in one amount on some random date no chasing needed
15% Double TP's post for some flights but not all, chasing needed
BA told me the correct way was the top one, which if true is not bad that they are getting it right 50% of the time.

I used an AUP to upgrade a LHR-IAD leg to F from CW. The upgraded tier points posted for that flight.
Will I get the "J" points for that leg, or the "F" tier points as flown?
I'm hoping it's the latter.

If you got the upgraded 'normal' TPs, they should also post as double.
As we have seen from partial DTPs and other anomalies, the award is not done from the booking, but from what appears in your BAEC account.
